Facilities

The Main Hall is accessed via a hallway which also leads to the toilets and kitchen.  The main hall measures 20 metres x 8.5 meters.  There are windows on both sides with full length curtains and a double door emergency exit. The hall has electric heating (controls in back storage room).  The hall is licensed for use by up to a maximum of 140 persons at any one time.

The Bar – The hall has a separate area with a serving hatch that can be used as a bar with a large fridge/freezer and smaller larder fridge and storage for glasses (Approx 100 each champagne flutes, wine glasses, tumblers are available) and tablecloths and a hot water urn.. Folding tables are stored in the bar on wheeled storage units.

The Kitchen was fully refurbished in 2023, and now boasts two large electric cookers with double ovens and hobs; a fridge; double sinks for washing up and a separate hand sink; a large capacity water heater feeding the hot tap; a kettle; a microwave; an instant hot water dispenser for drinks; a catering dishwasher; a plate warmer; and a full range of crockery and cutlery for 100 covers. There is a roll up/roll down hatch for serving into the main hall.

Cloakrooms – there are separate male, female and disabled toilet facilities with sensory taps and Airblade Dryers, as well Paper Hand Towels. 

Nappy changing facilities are available in the separate disabled toilet

Tables and chairs – available to seat 100. Chairs are stored in the back room.at the end of the hall. There are two sizes of rectangular folding ‘Gopak’ tables to enable a range of combination of seating.  Chairs have cushioned backs and seats.

Children’s Furniture – There are small chairs and tables which can be borrowed by negotiation.

Tablecloths – wipeable green tablecloths are in the cupboards in the bar.

Staging – There is portable staging available which can be borrowed by negotiation.

Accessibility – The hall is completely accessible on one smooth level with wide doors, suitable for wheelchairs and mobility scooters.  There is a separate disabled cloakroom.

Parking – The hall has its own off-road car park for about 8 cars, and there is plenty of on-street parking available too.
